Emily Chaisson is a Chinese Canadian filmmaker focused on post-production whose work is shaped by her early love of making shorts, her studies at NSCAD University, and her inspiration from quiet, overlooked moments. She aims to capture the beauty in everyday life like a filmmaking version of street photography.

As a filmmaker drawn more to editing and collaboration than writing or directing, I aim to shape stories through post-production by balancing intimacy and energy, finding rhythm in both quiet and dynamic moments, and creating films that highlight the connection between creators and audiences.
